I have five Great Danes and was having to replace mattress ( king ) every three months because they would dig on it and then once ripped pull the stuffing out, I looked into having a canvas cover made abcs was quoted $450 which I can’t afford I found this on Amazon and it’s for moving and storage of a mattress and it’s made of canvas and waterproof so their drool won’t ruin the new mattress either. Really simple to place mattress in and completely durable I am completely pleased and hopefully won’t need to buy another but if I do I’ll definitely use the same brand.I wanted a sturdier mattress cover for moving and found this after a lot of browsing. It handled the move with out a problem and no damage to itself or my foam queen mattress. It is made from a canvas-like outer material and has a plastic water-proof liner as described. The included straps are not the sturdiest thing I have ever seen but they work and give you a better handhold on the mattress. I would not recommend handling it by the cover as I suspect that is how some people damaged their covers. I expect that if you treat this right, it will last for many moves and will do a better job of protecting your mattress than 90% of the other mattress covers out there. It does pick up and show dust quite easily so be careful where you set it or drag it.Very sturdy. Got to protect spare bed from dog jumping on it and holds yo well. Also very easy to vacuum clean!Keeps mattresses 100% clean and dry.We bought this to store a mattress in our garage. While many boxes fell prey to a rodent that decided to move in, this bag did not. It safely protected the mattress and kept it safe for over a year and worked perfect to drag the mattress us a flight of wooden exterior stairs into an apartment.This is a very heavy bag with a quality zipper. There was plenty of room for our king size mattress and it was actually pretty baggy. The material is easy to grab onto for lifting, and the straps it came with weren't necessary. The best part was that it kept the mattress clean and pristine during transport. I don't know how water resistant it really is, but the material is thick enough that it would probably do pretty well, although probably not water proof.I use my bed as a couch too. This fabric is very strong & protected. I’m also protectingMy mattress from any invaders.It’s made for very thick mattress- plenty of room left for a topper.BUY IT!!!!!! After 1-2hrs searching I finally found this bag- best bag around $40. Immediately upon opening the bag you know this is a super quality mattress bag!I didnt realize it but its such a quality bad because its made of canvas!!!! like what they use to cover boats! Of course! how simple and immediately you realize this will do its job. The bag is canvas outside and what looks to be like a vinyl interior. Very sturdy and the straps are designed to be separate to keep them from being ripped off the bag like most other competitors.One really wonders how and why they sell such cheap alternatives like a blue tarp bag for the same price yet so inferior in durability.So happy that I had to stop in the middle of packing up my mattress to write this review. Last thing, I did not think about it until it arrived but I became worried that the Twin bag I order would be too small for my Twin long or Twin XL mattress but nope it fit perfect!Not often products exceed expectations but this one sure did!
