Fit well, are very comfortable. Would recommend. I only returned them because I didn't like the color when I got them. This is my second pair - these shoes are great. It's a shame that we could only find them on Amazon in the UK.Let me start by saying that I had to return my original shipment because the shoes arrived without any insoles. That being said, the 2nd shipment arrived in just 3 days - great job Amazon. Ok for the review on the shoes - the insoles are thin as cardboard, so I inserted some better, thicker and comfortable insole. The shoes fit great and are very lite weight. I’m a mailman with a walking route, so I wore the shoes out on my next work day and was able to complete the 9 miles without any issues- good insoles and great shoes. The shoes are very lite, great grip when walking up, down and sideways on hilly areas. The shoes come below the ankle. The shoes come with somewhat stretchy laces. I rate this a plus keeping the shoes from getting too tight or binding. Great shoes I would buy them again. The cons I see are the thin insoles. Also when traveling sideways on hill’s, the shoe does open up making it easier for debris to get into shoe. In 9 miles this happened once. My other issue is the cleats do pick up mud if you are walking in muddy area. Stomping the shoe removes most but not all of the mud so be careful not to track mud or dirt inside.I would definitely buy the shoes again. I would have gone for 5 stars, but I thought Columbia would have provided a more comfortable insole.Comfortable, goes with almost any pant, super durable! I wear them to work every day and do a lot of walking and biking and they still look great and fit wonderful! I was skeptical at first but this is my new favorite shoeIt is really hard for me to find a shoe that fits my wide foot so I am hesitant to order on line. But, this shoe did receive some good reviews relating to the fit so I ordered these and I am so glad I did.My shoe size is 10 1/2 D. I don't think they use the letters any longer. The letter indicates the width and a "D" is wide. "A" would be narrow and "F" would be Flinstone wide, lol. So I don't know how they would fit if you were say a "B" or "C".These shoes are very flexible yet feel sturdy. My dog takes me for walks every day and our route is 90% street and 10% off road - like a dirt trail, so I am unable to comment on this shoe's performance under intended conditions.I can however, comment on how comfortable these are! I wear 3 types of shoes...1) work/Sunday shoes, 2) occasionally slippers and 3) these Columbias! Awesomely comfortable! Get a pair, you won't be sorry, uh, if you are a "D".I don’t know. They were cheaper than Keenes when I bought them, and being all leather outside (except right around the ankle), I hoped they would last a lot longer than my last two pairs of hiking shoes. One previous pair of Keens were very comfortable, but the stupid nylon "eyelets" for the laces busted before the shoes were a year old. I had those repaired, and eventually the shoe exterior cracked and failed where it flexes a lot near the toe box. I think they failed significantly at about two years (were no longer water resistant), and I finally replaced them after three years. The next pair from another brand (can't remember which) had metal eyelets, so that was a nice upgrade. They were comfortable and good shoes, but they only lasted maybe two years before the same area near the toe box was failing. Keep in mind, I only wear these 1-2 times a week; not a ton of use. I felt like two years at partial duty was kind of lacking for a $100+ pair of shoes. So, I was looking for shoes with metal eyelets AND full leather, so they would last longer. So, I bought these Columbias.I've had them just about a year, and they are holding up fine. The sole still looks good too. However, I had to buy some inserts almost immediately! They hurt my feet just to stand in them. It was painful. Hurting my lower back. With the inserts, I can walk and hike all day long without any pain, but it still hurts to stand for any length of time. Then, I just started noticing that these shoes REALLY stink. None of my other shoes stink, even those that I wear 3-4 times a week. Even my athletic shoes that I get all sweaty exercising in. These stink awful. It's to the point that I have avoided wearing them if it's for a situation where I might need to take them off somewhere other than home. Maybe due to the leather, they don't breathe as well?? Don't know.I'm not sure I'd buy again. These shoes are very comfortable. I bought a pair of Peakfreak Nomad Plus (waterproof) shoes all the way back in 2014, and they were the most comfortable shoes I’ve ever worn. I still have them in fact, 5 years later. Since Columbia stopped making them, these shoes are the closest thing to them. Buyer beware they are ABSOLUTELY 100% a half size smaller than what you would normally wear. Same thing with my Nomad plus shoes. Make sure you get a half size bigger than you normally would or they will not fit you correctly. The only reason I have four stars and not five is the manufacturer imperfections right out of the box. I literally wore the shoes one time for ten minutes after the pictures I added were taken. Glue marks on the shoes and some scuffs which should never happen. Regardless, I am very happy with them. Color is much darker in person than in the pictures. This is my third pair of these shoes I've purchased. For me, they are true to size. Being all leather, it takes a few days of wearing for conformity to my feet. The foot bed and insole profide plenty of cushion. Being waterproof is a big plus. Actually I'm not yet finished with me previous 2nd pair but bought these to have on hand. It appears that Columbia is still selling this model and could only find it on Amazon. These shoes were comfortable from the off. Strangely, my left heel rubbed for the first 50 metres, or so, and then appeared to fit into the heel cup perfectly. From then on, they’ve been great. I tested their waterproof capability, the same day, by walking through long, very wet grass. They continued to be waterproof, but for only the next 20 days. This pair was returned for a replacement pair, which leaked after 30 days wear, the day after the Amazon returns window closed.“Guaranteed waterproof,” the label says. Not in my experience ?I’ve now had several pairs of these, used for 1-2 hours 4-7miles every day for dog walking on mainly path / gravel. Despite the 3 star review, I’ll keep buying these until they stop making them.Let’s start with the positives:Extremely comfortable and supportive- fit my wide size 13 feet perfectly. I’ve tried just about every other brand and nothing comes closer to a perfect fit for my feet. Never had a blister or sore foot even when going 10+ miles. They Look great, I have had all 3 colour options at some point and all work well. Now the negatives:Waterproof for only first month, not much use in wet grass. Tried dubbing and scotch guard with no improvement. The leather will crack after a few months of use, sometimes only a little, my last pair literally peeled off in 50p size chunks.Hit and miss quality of glue on the sole - the most recent pair got delivered last week and today the sole has completed separated - never had this before on other pairs! I think they may have been damp in transit from manufacturer as the eyelets had gone a little green.Soles wear down flat after 6 months of moderate use on paths / gravel. So - in truth, if I could find a more durable shoe for the same money that fitted I’d switch tomorrow. For now, I’m stuck with these knowing I’ll replace them every 6 months at £60-90 a pop.J'ai commandé ces chaussures pour mon travail. Just as a disclaimer, I don't think the shoes I got were genuine so if you want these, try them and buy them in a shop. What I got however are unwearable but just not worth the hassle of sending back. After I got these, I have promised myself to never buy any footwear from Amazon again - I keep getting sold knock-offs or rejects for slightly cheaper.
