Ordered a 2x, couldn't even get it over my shoulders. The look and texture of the jacket are what I wanted, but the sizing was way off. I even ordered a size up from usual. The jacket I bought had a ribbon of material around at the neck line that made this jacket uncomfortable with a t shirt. The ribbon ties the upper and lower interior mesh material together but feels like sandpaper. If you're wearing a collared shirt it's not an issue. Good rain protection. Here's what most reviewers won't tell you: their size and what they ordered. I am 34, 195/5'11". I don't have a belly, not a weightlifter either, but certainly not a skinny hipster kid. I wear size L t-shirt, and I believe my shirt size is a 40-42". I ordered a size L, then XL, and finally got 2XL because that was the only thing comparable to an American L. Their size XL is more like a M-L, it runs similar to Japanese jacket sizes. I can see what the other reviewer meant about the tape along the seam rubbing on his neck, but that didn't bother me because my shirt was high enough. I didn't like the fact that I couldn't stow away the hood though, which is why I upgraded to their Hsuki model jacket. It also has pit zippers, which I can't live without now. Both model jackets are light and waterproof, just make sure you get the right size the first time around!
